Meeting OVERVIEW
今年度のテーマ「あなたはひとりじゃない」は、どのようにして言葉から行動へと変わったのか。7月と9月のワークショップでメンバーと共に考え、辿り着いたのは、家庭で暮らすことができない子どもたちへの支援でした。5月10日、朝陽学園の子どもたちとICUピースフェローが共に音楽をつくる——その日への道のりと、音楽への個人的な思い、そしてこのプロジェクトに込めた願いを綴ります。
590th Regular Meeting | The Table Talk "A Concert Created by Everyone — The Day 'You Are Not Alone' Becomes Action" By William Nealy (President, Rotary E-Club of Tokyo Peace Wing)
How did this year's theme "You Are Not Alone" evolve from words into action? Through workshops in July and September, our members listened deeply to one another — and found their way to children who can no longer live at home. On May 10, children from Choyo Gakuen and ICU Peace Fellows will create music together. This takuwa traces the journey to that day, reflects on the personal meaning of music, and shares the hopes behind this project.
